Accessibility

Last updated 8 October 2026

We want anyone to be able to get a price from us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This site targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Rather than just claim that, here is what was built and checked.

What has been tested

Keyboard only. The whole site is operable without a mouse. The services and service-area menus open on Enter, report their state to screen readers, and close on Escape. A skip-to-content link is the first thing you reach.
Color contrast. Body text sits at roughly 17:1 against its background. Buttons and links were specifically darkened from our logo color so that text on them passes AA — the lighter brand orange is used only for decoration and on dark panels, never behind small text.
Touch targets. Links and buttons in the menus, service lists and footer are at least 44 pixels tall on a phone, above the 24-pixel minimum the standard sets.
Images. Every photograph carries a description written by a person who looked at it. Photographs we have not reviewed are not published rather than being given a guessed description.
Structure. Each page has exactly one main heading and a correct heading order, so screen-reader users can navigate by headings.
Forms. Every field has a visible label — not just placeholder text. Required fields are marked, and if a step is incomplete the form says which field needs attention instead of failing silently.
Motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the small entrance animations do not run at all. Content is never hidden waiting for an animation, so it is readable with JavaScript switched off.
Zoom and reflow. The layout reflows down to a 390-pixel-wide screen with no horizontal scrolling.

Where we fall short

The logo in the header is a small image link, under the touch-target size we hold everything else to. Every destination it reaches is also reachable from the main menu, so nothing is lost, but it is a known gap rather than an oversight.

The spam-protection widget on the estimate form is supplied by Cloudflare and we do not control its markup. If it is ever a barrier for you, call us instead — a phone call reaches the same person as the form.

If something does not work

You will never be disadvantaged for contacting us another way. If this site does not work for you, phone us and we will take the details ourselves.
